Keystone Policy Partners Program

The KPP program is a partnership between PADA and our members to help advance our profession in Harrisburg and Washington.  It is intended to help PADA members get more involved in policy by keeping you up-to-date on important legislative issues as they arise and by providing training and materials for talking to state and federal legislators.

WHO is a Keystone Policy Partner?

  • Someone interested in getting more involved with public policy initiatives in the state and nation.
  • Someone who wants to stay up-to-date on policy issues that affect our profession.
  • Someone who realizes that they are a Keystone for getting responsible, accurate information to their legislators.
  • Someone who wants to increase the visibility of our profession and establish us as the food and nutrition experts in Pennsylvania and across country.

WHAT will a KPP do?

  • Inform and Stay Informed

KPPs will receive up-to-date communication from PADA on relevant legislative issues as they happen.  KPPs will also be asked to communicate with PADA regarding legislative happenings and where their legislators stand on key issues.

  • Learn how to advocate for your profession

PADA will sponsor free quarterly training via webinar on a variety of legislative topics.  A calendar of events is coming soon.

  • Talk to your legislators
A key function of the KPP will be to get to know state and federal legislators.  If you are not talking to them about food and nutrition, who is?  PADA will also send out alerts to KPPs when important issues are being discussed in Harrisburg and Washington.

Join today by filling out the KPP application.
